When I started inking it all in, I realized I wanted it to look like dusk, or early dawn. I needed it dark, because those are the kinds of light conditions these birds are most active.

Perhaps a bit too dark? Whatever the case, I think it's good enough to throw a mat on and put in the exhibit, don't you?
